PROGRAM DETAILS
Participants choose from two course options: Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced. Both courses are flexible and allow participants to progress at a pace to fit their motivation and abilities. The Pre-conference Workshop is ideal as an introductory course or as a refresher course on basic metering. Please select which track you want on the registration form.
Basic/Intermediate Track
This class is aimed at personnel with little experience with electric meters. Instruction builds on the Pre-Conference Workshop, and will include hands on training.
Advanced Track
This class is intended for those who have working knowledge of meters/metering. The course combines in-depth instruction with practical hands-on exercises that simulate scenarios that could occur at any utility. Working in small groups, we will focus on troubleshooting a variety of challenging metering setups, then applying load to determine if everything is correctly configured.
About the Pre-conference Workshop
The Pre-conference Workshop is designed to outline the basics of metering as a foundation for the Meter School. If you are new to metering, we recommend attending the Pre-Conference Workshop and the Meter School for maximum benefit.
